Valeen Montenegro Vicente (born 10 June 1990), commonly known for her stage name as Valeen Montenegro, is a Filipina actress. ==Biography== Montenegro started her acting career as one of the new talents launched by ABS-CBN's talent management arm Star Magic in 2006. Her first acting role was a one-episode stint in the fantasy series Da Adventures of Pedro Penduko playing the younger version of Gloria Romero's character Maria. In 2007, Montenegro was cast in the acclaimed but short-lived primetime drama Ysabella. Her performance as Lima Amarillo garnered her much positive attention from critics. In that same year, Montenegro debuted on the big screen as the eventual ghost in the horror flick Hide and Seek. The following year, she decided to have a contract on other network and accepted a role on TV5's teen drama series HushHush. It wasn't until in late 2008 that producers realized Montenegro's flair for comedy. TV5 executives saw her potential in comedy and cast her in their then-new sketch comedy show Lokomoko. Montenegro's recent credits include TV5's Artista Academy in 2012 and starring in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of the American television series Pretty Little Liars. In July 2015, Montenegro appears on ''FHM Philippines'' as cover girl, preceding former Japanese AV Idol Maria Ozawa. On that note Montenegro was on the 24th place which won by Jennylyn Mercado. And for the first time she ramps for the 2 part FHM 100 Sexiest party, joining with Ritz Azul, Myrtle Sarrosa and Arny Ross. Montenegro recently moved from Kapatid Network TV5 to Kapuso Network GMA Network to be part of the newest Sunday variety and game show Sunday PINASaya.
